Material Managers are a vital member of the ASC team. We invited them to half a day on our last in person conference. Our take-away from that day was, IT WASN’T ENOUGH! This year, we would like to invite all material managers, their managers, and staff member interested in pursuing this path to a day of learning and plenty of time for networking with our many sponsors/ vendors.

Call For Speakers

The Call for Speakers is OPEN for all AASCA Speaking Opportunities!

The Call for Speakers gives individuals the opportunity to send proposals to speak at AASCAs annual conference and trainings. Speaking slots are 60 minutes for the annual conference, and 2 hours for training seminars. The AASCA Education Committee’s goal is to curate outstanding content, in an effort to provide members the opportunity to expand his or her expertise and promote quality patient care. Proposal topics range from presenting evidence-based approaches to sharing unique viewpoints. We invite you to submit a proposal and add your voice to the ASC community.

What we’re looking for:

  1. 60 minute speaking slot
  2. Engagement and Interaction. Plan audience engagement into your session design.
  3. Provide valuable takeaways for audience members. Answer the question ­ as an attendee how can I apply this to my current position/role?
  4. Your title should accurately reflect what your session is but should also be interesting and compelling. Your title is your ten second elevator pitch that captures the interest of attendees.
