President's Message

AASCA exists to support, protect, and advance ambulatory surgery centers across Arizona. ASCs play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient, and affordable surgical care in communities throughout the state, and AASCA ensures they have a strong, unified voice in an increasingly complex healthcare environment.

Regulatory Support

We work closely with state agencies, including the Arizona Department of Health Services, to help ASCs understand and comply with evolving regulations. From guidance on licensure and Article 9 changes to practical compliance tools and real-time updates, AASCA helps centers stay informed, prepared, and protected.

Education

Through webinars, in-person workshops, conferences, in-person regional events, AASCA delivers education that is timely, practical, and built specifically for ASC teams. Our programs are designed to help administrators, clinicians, and business leaders strengthen operations, improve quality, and navigate the financial and regulatory realities of today’s ASC environment.

Advocacy

AASCA represents Arizona’s ASCs at the State Capitol and beyond. We educate lawmakers on the value of outpatient surgical care, advocate for policies that support and strengthen ASCs, and ensure the ASC community has a seat at the table when decisions are being made.

We are deeply grateful to our member ASCs and our business partners whose engagement, support, and leadership make this work possible. Your commitment strengthens our association and helps elevate outpatient surgical care across Arizona.

If you are not yet part of AASCA, we invite you to join us. By becoming a member ASC or business partner, you help amplify the collective voice of Arizona’s ASC community and ensure we remain strong, connected, and well-represented in the years ahead.
