ACFS Fertility, a premier fertility and IVF center, seeking experienced, compassionate, healthcare professionals to join our thriving team!
Job Summary:
This DON will oversee clinical operations of our IVF center, which includes a clinic
and ambulatory surgery center (ASC) with a single OR and procedure room and
two pre/post-op bays. The DON will supervise approximately 15+ clinical staff,
RN’s, Scrub Techs and MA’s, which help support our patients’ clinical and surgical
needs in dynamic and fast-paced center. The ambulatory surgery center serves the
fertility center and its patients exclusively and performs approximately 500-600
minimally invasive procedures under anesthesia annually. Typical cases include IVF
egg retrievals and hysteroscopies. Cases are typically scheduled every 30-60
minutes from 8a-12p Monday-Friday. Board-certified anesthesiologists are
responsible for administering anesthesia to our patients. Morning OR turnover is
extremely efficient, and our clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction rates are
outstanding.
The DON is expected to be on-site at the ASC when procedures are taking place
and will participate in both direct patient care and administrative leadership.
The DON will:
· Organize and coordinate the activities of clinical and ASC staff and delegate tasks
as needed.
· Schedule per diem PACU nurses to ensure staffing levels are optimally matched
to case volume for maximal efficiency and quality of care
· Assesses, monitor, and educates clinical staff on patient care and ASC procedures
· Ensure compliance with AAASF and AZDHS standards
· Foster a positive, supportive environment for patients and staff

Requirements: Director of Nursing – DON
RN Required; BSN required and/or Masters preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years nursing experience and one (1) year of leadership
experience. Registered Nursing License (RN) in state of practice. Basic Life Support
BLS, ACLS, and other credential modules maybe required.
Additional requirements:
· Current Resume
· AZ Nursing License in good standing
· A nursing degree from an accredited nursing program
· Minimum two years of medsurg or ASC experience preferred
· Current BLS and/or ACLS and/or Specialty Certifications
· Two current clinical references
· Must be able to pass background/urine drug screening
· Knowledge of state and federal regulations
